The Forensic and Clinical Psychology Research Group (FCRG), led by Dr Ross Bartels and based in the School of Psychology at the University of Lincoln, is concerned with aspects of psychological functioning related to forensic and clinical topics.

Most research is focused in applied settings and on clinical or forensic populations, including individuals in the community, special groups in hospital or clinical settings and offenders both in and out of institutions.

Areas of relevance and impact include clinical practice and well-being, offending and maladaptive behaviour, and policing, security and secure environments.  All research activities are undertaken within an ethos of engaging undergraduate and postgraduate students in the process of applied practice research.
